The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell anything about you, and each product's own policy tells you exactly what it does.

This website has no cookies, no analytics, and no trackers. ColorPickr collects nothing whatsoever — camera frames never leave your phone. If you email us, we keep the email so we can answer it, and that's all.
Everything below says the same thing with the detail a policy needs.
Who we are
Wolf's Raven is the publishing name of Donald W. Jordan, an independent software developer in Modesto, California. It is currently a sole proprietorship. If and when the studio incorporates, this policy and every commitment in it carries over to the new entity without change.
Questions about anything here go to support@wolfsraven.com and are answered by the same person who wrote the software.
This website
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising or social tracking scripts, and does not build a profile of you.
Web fonts on these pages are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com and those services necessarily see your IP address as part of serving the file. No other third party is contacted.
Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs — IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser user agent — for security and troubleshooting. We do not analyze those logs to identify or track individual visitors.
Our products
Each product carries its own privacy policy, because each one handles data differently. The product policy is the authoritative document for that product.
- ColorPickr collects no personal data at all. Live camera frames are analyzed on your device and are never recorded, saved, uploaded, or shared. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. Read the full policy at colorpickr.wolfsraven.com/privacy.html.
- PolicySquirrel is still in development. Because it is a hosted, multi-tenant workspace that stores customer content, it will publish its own privacy policy and data processing terms before it is available to customers.
Email you send us
When you email support, an investment inquiry, or an introduction, we keep the message so we can answer it and refer back to it later. That's the only reason we keep it.
Your address is never added to a mailing list, sold, rented, or used for marketing. If you ask us to delete your correspondence, we will, except where we're required to keep a record for tax or legal reasons.
Purchases
App purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us with aggregate, anonymized sales figures — units and revenue by region — and nothing that identifies you.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. See the support page for how to request one.
Children
Our products and this site are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. ColorPickr collects nothing at all, which makes this straightforward.
Security
We keep the data we hold to a minimum, which is the most effective security measure available to a studio this size. Email correspondence is held in a standard commercial email account protected by a strong unique password and two-factor authentication.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affected information you gave us, we would tell you directly and promptly.
Your choices
You can browse this site without giving us anything. You can use ColorPickr without giving us anything.
If you have emailed us and want to know what we hold, want a copy, or want it deleted, write to support@wolfsraven.com and we will handle it within thirty days. Depending on where you live you may have specific rights under the GDPR, the CCPA, or similar laws; we extend the same handling to everyone regardless of location.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and the previous version is replaced here. Material changes affecting a product will also be noted in that product's own policy and, where the change is significant, in its App Store release notes.
